Aeroplane Magazine Forums: Autumn 2008 Events Update at Newark Air Museum

I have posted a new thread to try and bring together some important details about our hectic autumn event schedule to as many people as possible, so the photographers amongst you are not disappointed – particularly on November 22nd.

25th October to 2nd November: Half–Term Open Cockpits – each day during the half-term period at least one cockpit will be open for inspection [a small additional fee is charge to access the cockpit].

Saturday November 1, 2008: Day-Night Photo Shoot – steady interest from various sectors but there are still some places available.

Thursday 20 November 2008 @ 2000 hours – Showing the Vulcan, a talk by Squadron Leader David Thomas – again steady interest but some tickets are still available. These are unlikely to be available on the night!

Saturday 22 November [10.00 to 16.00 hours]. Indoor Aeroboot Table Top Sale – all 20 tables have now been sold so hangar 2 will be busy on this day. With so many people and stalls amongst the aircraft, then photographic opportunities will be limited in this hangar on the 22nd, this is reflected in the lower admission price for that day of just £4.00.
