Vulcan XM594 Crew Appeal
      #287 - 02/02/2008 15:43

On July 19th 2008 Newark Air Museum will be holding a special day to celebrate the arrival of Vulcan B.2 XM594 at their Winthorpe Airfield site. The museum is looking to receive contact from anybody who was there to see this mighty bomber aircraft land on that snowy winter’s day.

We are also trying to contact the last two untraced members of the flight crew who flew XM594 in that day. We have already found pilot Squadron Leader McDougall and navigator Flight Lieutenant Barnard. The two remaining people are Wing Commander Tony Davies the co-pilot and Flight Lieutenant Davies the Air Electronics Officer.

If anybody is still in contact with these two people please let us / them know, so they can be invited to the planned gathering.
