As announced a few days ago, there is another story about Ruzzin Today is the 65th anniversary of another of his flying career: actually two combat flight both on July 8, 1943 two combat flight... without combat! In the first flight Ruzzin and his wingman sighted no enemy planes, while in the second flight...too! More exactly: a few minutes after the second take off, Ruzzin's wingman turned out to Comiso with engine problems and Ruzzin received a radio call order to intercept 40 enemy planes sighted at Capo Passero, Ruzzin immediately headed straight for the south east end of Sicily: "it was not courage, bravery, fanaticism or fearless" says Ruzzin "it was time to go on" Fortunately there was a new radio call: "Ruzzin! come back, there is no chance you alone against 40!" So this was his last flight in the War 40-43
