As already mentioned elsewhere on the forum, the weather put paid to any serious flying at Leuchars 2008.

Thanks for those, it cheered me up a little. But after the traffic debacle trying to get home I'm not sure if we'll be back next year. Tayside police have lot to answer for, they cocked up the traffic management and went home before everyone else. It took 6 hours from getting in the car to getting home in Aberdeenshire.

It's been the same for as long as I can remember going to Leuchars.
Especially when leaving and the local Police seem to manage to come up with more inefficient traffic flow schemes year after year.
I came by train for the first time and the journey in was effortless. However, with a very high percentage of the crowd leaving early the trains leaving Leuchars were very busy, even early afternoon, with a bit of a fight for seats and numerous attempts at squeezing in fully loaded prams and buggies.
