Can anyone advise on how to trace details of ex RAF pilots? A workmate has told me their grandad was an RAF fighter pilot, but knows nothing else about him. His name was Jesse James Nichols, and he'd be in his late 80s if he were still alive. Where can we find out something obout his career in the RAF?
