V-Force Reunion Weekend 24 & 25 April 2010 - Advanced notice
      10/10/2008 15:43

Newark Air Museum is pleased to announce that it is planning to host another V-Force Reunion Event in 2010.

This event is expected to follow the style of the 2004 gathering which was enjoyed by so many. The same organising team have agreed to be involved with the event. So Mike Pearson, Alan McLoughinn and Don Chadwick will again act as the contacts for former V-Force Personnel.

The main focus for the reunion is likely to be the Saturday and it is likely that an evening “gathering” will be organised at another off-site venue. This event is open to all who served with aircraft of the V-Force as air or ground crew, those involved in the manufacture and servicing of the types are also included. Signing in areas will be staffed by a team of V-Force volunteers, who will provide badges to be worn for mutual identification and a small registration fee will be charged.

More details will appear at www.newarkairmuseum.org as updates become available.

You can register to receive updates via the contact page of the museum website and then we will keep you advised of the latest information. This can be done via email. If you do not have an email address please send in a request by post enclosing an SAE. If you left an email address in 2004, please contact us again to revalidate that address

As part of the gathering we continue our ongoing search for those who have hours on our resident Vulcan, XM594. If you are able to assist in recording the history of this one Vulcan please contact Bill O’Sullivan via the museum email at newarkair@onetel.com
