Fw 189 for Paul Allen

Focke-Wulf Fw 189 Werknr 2100, recovered by Sussex-based Jim Pearce from northern Russia in 1992, has been acquired by Microsoft billionaire Paul Allen's Flying Heritage Collection in Seattle, Washington, USA.
Restoration of Focke-Wulf Fw 189 Werknr 2100 is to be completed for collector Paul Allen.
This is the world's only surviving example of the twin-boom reconnaissance machine, and has now been registered N189FW. The Fw 189 Restoration Society — the supporters' club for the aircraft — will continue to operate.
