Malcolm Hood Mustang flies

July 30, 2008
On June 8 at Salinas, California, motor racing entrant Jack Roush's newly-restored North American P-51B became the first Malcolm Hood-equipped P-51 to fly since end of the war. The machine is painted up as Colonel C.E. “Bud” Anderson's Old Crow, and is sure to turn heads at the EAA's Airventure show at Oshkosh from July 28–August 3.

This is just a taster — see September's Aeroplane magazine for more.
