Return of the Sea Vixen
June 27, 2008
The world's only airworthy de Havilland Sea Vixen will return to the airshow circuit in July, having been sidelined during the 2007 season owing to huge increases in insurance costs. Operated by de Havilland Aviation (DHA) at Bournemouth, XP924/G-CVIX has now been insured at a far more favourable rate, thanks to a joint venture with an aircraft fleet operator. Yeovilton will become XP924's temporary home during the summer.
