Vulcan effect lifts Waddington
July 30, 2008
Avro Vulcan B.2 XH558 made its first display appearance at the RAF Waddington show on July 5, attracting the largest ever Saturday crowd — more than 70,000 people— to its former base. Prevented from displaying at the Royal International Air Tattoo at Fairford the following week after the event was cancelled, the Vulcan made four more show stopping displays during the Farnborough Air show from July 16–20.
